Don English
Dedicated. Experienced. Educator.

Candidate Statement
I am honored to serve Rancho Cucamonga (Area 4) as
Trustee for the Chaffey Joint Union High School District as we
work together to prepare students for college and career. As a
28-year Educator locally and father of two, I understand how
important high school is and how challenging those years can
be – especially now.
My profession as an Educator has been dedicated to 1) Building positive, progressive, and safe learning environments;
2) Creating a culture of inclusivity, equity, and access, and 3) Ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
In 1999 I received the honor "Teacher of the Year" by the NAACP and by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools in 1998. I have been a Principal and currently proudly
serve as Director of the S.B. County Superintendent of Schools ``Children Deserve Success" program. In addition, I am the Executive Director of the S.B. County "Gangs and Drugs Task Force." My commitment and experience in Education of our youth has taken me to the State level as your representative, as President-Elect of the California
Association of Supervisors of Child Welfare and Attendance
and Co-Director of the Association of
California School Administrators. I am grateful to serve
Chaffey/Rancho Cucamonga students/schools/community
directly, locally, and on the steps of the State of California.
In the end, it’s all about the students – and how we as leaders can continue and enhance the great work that has made the Chaffey Joint Union High School District a model of excellence for student achievement and the supportive culture/environment
we have created together. Please vote for me in November 2022 and I will continue to listen and serve YOU.
Thank you in advance for your support. Please share.
